Problem Statement
Merkaz Hasofrim needed a specialized study table designed for comfort, flexibility, and functionality for sofer scribes. They required a single-seater table with a front cushioned PU support, adjustable tabletop angles, and ample storage space for tools like ink and quills. The challenge was to create a modular design that could be shipped in pieces and easily assembled by the user, ensuring durability, ease of use, and ergonomic comfort.

Final Outcome
We developed a custom Sofrus study table for Merkaz Hasofrim, focusing on comfort and functionality. The table features a soft cushioned front elbow rest to prevent hand strain, an adjustable height, and an angled tabletop to suit different working preferences. A unique side-to-side slide function on the tabletop allows easy transitions between pages. Additional features include a convenient storage drawer and a shelf for ink, quills, and accessories. The table’s modular design enables it to be shipped in pieces with user-friendly assembly instructions, combining convenience and practicality for sofer scribes. The final product was a thoughtfully designed, ergonomic table that met all the client’s requirements.
