Cura Laser approached us with the goal of designing a portable dental laser hub that integrates existing electronic components in a user-friendly, efficient, and ergonomic way. They needed a compact, functional design with easy access to crucial elements like the screen, dental laser, and fiber collector. The challenge was to create a solution that allows portability and versatility, ensuring smooth operation in various dental environments.

Final Outcome
We provided Cura Laser with a complete concept design of their Portable Dental Laser Hub, seamlessly incorporating existing electronic components. The design featured a roller lid mechanism that allows the screen to slide out and adjust to different angles for ease of use. The recessed handle holes offer a suitcase-like portability, making it convenient for transport. Additionally, we designed the hub to store components like the fiber collector and dental laser at the back of the screen, allowing them to be easily mounted in front when in use. Our services, including mechanical concepting, design, and engineering, resulted in a compact, functional, and portable device that exceeded the client’s expectations in both form and function.
