Problem Statement
Reco wanted an innovative and versatile kids’ kitchen tower that would not only assist children in reaching kitchen countertops but also provide additional uses for play and learning. The challenge was to design a strong, lightweight structure that could transform into multiple configurations: a kitchen tower, a study table, a slide, a drawing station with a continuous paper roll, and a chalkboard. The goal was to create a safe, durable, and engaging product that could move easily and provide children with a range of interactive activities.

We developed a unique kids’ kitchen tower for Reco, crafted from strong yet lightweight wood, allowing children to move it easily. This versatile design functions in five modes: as a kitchen tower, a rotatable study table, a slide (with an attachable slide and tower serving as stairs), a drawing station (with an attachable paper roll for continuous drawing), and a chalkboard (with an attachable chalkboard sheet). This product allows kids to safely reach counters for cooking or play while also offering creative and educational uses in various configurations. The final product exceeded expectations by combining utility, safety, and play in a compact, adaptable design.
